Pastor K, leader of Gospel for Myanmar wrote as follows…
“Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We the ACCM leaders and members also continually pray for you and your ministries.
The mission works here in Myanmar also going well as you pray for us. I and my family also very much appreciate and thankful for your love and support. This is my humble prayer request for generator or solar power. Our country’s electric power system becomes a rotation system four hours apart. Therefore, I humbly and sincerely would like to request your prayer for these urgent needs. Our children will have their final examination next month (February).
Concerning our Bible School, coming Saturday (01/16/2023) we will have farewell and it will be closed, and it will be started again in June the second week. Thank you very much for your prayers and your financial support. May our Lord continue to bless you abundantly in your ministries. Again, I would like to say "Thank You" to all the donors who are with you in your ACMissioNZ in New Zealand.
Yours sincerely in Christ,
K & E”
A suitable petrol-driven generator to assist with their electricity needs costs Myanmar kyats, which is about NZ$760
He sent these pictures of the results of the power cuts…
Pastor K also wrote to seek our prayers for God’s guidance and wisdom as they are considering developing a home and facilities for their Salem Campus to include a home for his family and for the orphan children they care for, together with facilities for their Bible School. All of their activities are presently carried out in an expensive, rented property.
They recently visited the property and prayed on the site about their plan and would appreciate our supporting prayers for the project also. They plan to fence the property, which is 100 feet by 60 feet (30.5m X 18.25m) this month (January) and once this is done, they will dig a well.
Pastor K was very proud to send details of the achievements at school of one of the orphan children he and his wife have cared for many years. He wrote…
“Yahar was honored by her School with this achievement letter. She was not able to get the first prize, but she is one of the best in her school. She is one of our children in Salem Family Home.”
