Thank the Lord for their Annual Prayer Camp which was held at the Bala Bazar church on November 26th and 27th. The President of the Advent Christian Conference of India (Rev. M. G. Baktha Singh), a number of the senior officers of the Conference and other pastor and lay members of the Executive Committee (a total of 14) travelled from Chennai to attend this meeting and all who attended were blessed by the fellowship at the gathering and the activities beforehand.

The Bishop formally installed six new pastors and ordained three of the existing senior pastors in a special service.

They visited St Xavier’s School
On 25th November, prior to the main meetings, members of the visiting group dedicated the new Advent Christian church building and pastor’s house at Sanha Village.
The funds for the church building were donated by Mr Simon Kumar from the Perengudi Advent Christian Church in Chennai, in memory of the first believer in that church and his son, also a member and ex- secretary of the church who died just a few weeks ago.
In 2012, a generous member of the Sembakkam Advent Christian Church in Chennai, Mr Satya Muller, and the church itself, donated funds for the purchase of land and the church building for the Advent Christian Church at Rampur (Bihar) and it was dedicated in 2013. This group brought a further gift of one lakh (100,000) rupees (approx. NZ$1,970) towards the building of a compound wall around the property, with the promise to meet the total cost of the wall. Bishop M. G. Baktha Singh laid the first brick for the wall.
Please continue to pray for Pastor Paul Sundar Raj and his family, and the team at Khagaria, which now consists of his team of 19 pastors ministering to three thousand members in 20 churches, and 55 teachers (including 31 missionary teachers) and 15 non-teaching staff providing education to one thousand six hundred children at St Xavier’s English Medium High School. His responsibilities and those of the other leaders are very great.
Please also pray for their activities during the Christmas season. There will be carol services held in many villages on Christmas Eve giving them the opportunity to share the Gospel with those who attend.
