Rev P. Lawrence is based at the manse at the FBHC church at Mannivakkam and has for some years had an itinerant ministry in rural and tribal areas in the Kanchipuram District of Chennai, Tamil Nadu and on the border of Tamil Nadu State with the State of Andhra Pradesh to the north.
He has recently sent Yesuway Jeevan Mission reports on his ministries during the last year – copies are set out below with some of the pictures that accompanied them…
“Greetings in Jesus name,
All Glory and honor goes to God alone.
This is my great privilege to share my brief ministry report which I have done in past year 2021-2022. During my itinerant ministry I have reached into unreached areas in rural remote and tribal areas.
Here another milestone of developing and expanding the Lord’s ministry with a vision towards mission. Thus I was giving Biblical teachings to rural pastors and evangelists who are unable to go to bible colleges.
The program name is PET center - PASTORS EQUIPPING TRAINING CENTRE. These bible classes were conducted once in a month in the particular areas.

Vision and Mission of the Training:
Pastors Equipping Training Centre is a Biblical training ministry that is dedicated to train laymen preachers in rural parts of South India who have least opportunities to learn the Bible and mission strategies for church growth. The training provides every pastor, evangelist and lay person a foundational education in theology and other biblical perspective subjects. The one-year training of every month classes shall cover various topics on Bible and other Bible related subjects. This is a certified program which qualifies a learner in Biblical knowledge and education at the end.

With my vision and efforts this program was fully conducted by faith, not with any sponsors or regular supporters.
This program was started last year in September 2021 and concluded in March 2022.
Now many pastors are approaching me to teach the bible course, but by the classroom facilities and my financial crisis, I could not reach them frequently. I hope if I do this PET center without any hindrances it will become a small bible school in future. Please pray for my teaching ministry without any interruption. “
During the class hours, the PET students were very interested, listening and writing notes.

“Family Blessing prayer meeting – 2022
“On the very first Sunday evening every year, we conduct a family blessing prayer meeting for the blessings of believers. Thus we gathered the believers from our ministry fields and had good spiritual fellowship with them. In this meeting, Rev.Vimalraj from ECI Church was delivered the Lord’s message for us. At the end of the meeting we had a fellowship dinner.”
“Glory be to God
After the Covid curfew my God gave an opportunity to conduct the Vacation Bible School in two other places. Every day after the class we provided snacks and cool drinks or some nuts to the children. Final day we gave gifts and prize to all the students and teachers.

Here a couple accepted Jesus Christ and was baptised five years before in my itinerant ministry. I taught them all basic biblical education and trained them to do ministry among their own people. Now they are asking me to build a small prayer hall for their public worship. Please remember them in your prayers.

Here among the religious fanatics the non-Christians and some other Hindu neighbours are mostly helping for Lord’s ministry. Here some people have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and are living with good witness for Christ.”

“Every year on International Women’s Day (8th March) we gather the women from our ministry fields and celebrate for them.
