Pastor Paul Gantham has advised that with government Covid-19 restrictions eased somewhat they have recommenced holding outreach services at a hill in their area known as Kanagiri Mandal that they have named Calvary Healing Mount. Pictures from a meeting in mid-December after which a meal was served and a recent night meeting have been received.
Over recent years they have ministered regularly on this mountain and have had hundreds of folk from surrounding villages attend and have seen many come to faith and many evidences of physical healing as well as spiritual healing – thus their choice of a name.
Mission Manager Immanuel has advised that the mountain is government land and is what is called “Poramboke land” – it is not assessed in government revenue records and the value is thus outside of government revenue accounts. It can be made available to individuals or organisations at reduced or no cost. Pastor Paul Gantham has made application for the hill to be granted to the Advent Christian Conference of India (Adda Road AC Church is an outreach of the ACCI), and Immanuel advised that they have had a favourable reception so far, but there are still many levels of the application to be negotiated. Immanuel asks that we pray that this application may be successful as ownership of the land would be of great assistance to the church’s ministry in the area.
