Following Pastor Roy’s advice that they had been able to have their first gathering in their church building for 9 months on Sunday 6th December, he wrote again on Monday 14th as follows…
“Our Dec. 13 worship was another successful one. Many came numbering 38 including 2 visitors. People missed worshipping the Lord. We had another great Sunday yesterday. Thanks for the prayers.”
But with the good news came not-so-good news…
Our Barangay will be placed on RED ALERT starting Dec. 23 – Jan.3. This seems like a semi-lockdown.
1. No one is allowed to enter our barangay from other barangay except for those essential deliveries.
2. Curfew hours from 8:00 pm – 5:00 am.
3. Children are prohibited on the streets 24/7.
4. NO Christmas and New Year party except for family members only.
5. No gathering of more than 10 people.
6. Check points are placed on every entry point of our barangay. We again may face limited movements.
Please continue to pray for Pastor Roy and his congregation, and indeed for the city of Metro Manila and for his country, asking the Lord that Covid may soon be brought under control throughout, so that ministry can continue.
