Sister Ruth Devairakkam has recently written with Christmas greetings, news, prayer requests, and sending appreciation to those who pray with and for them.
“Greetings in the Name of the Lord.
During this Christmas-time, I would like to thank you and your friends for your prayers and donations toward our Advent work here. Kindly convey my thanks to AC Missions, New Zealand.
BLESSED CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2021.
ZEPHANIAH 3:17
The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.
(NKJV)
We want to thank you so much for your love for our people and family in Malaysia. We want to rejoice with you over the following restoration. Thank you for your faithful prayers.
A young couple, who were going through a troubled marriage have fully surrendered themselves to the Lord, after being convicted of the vows they made for each other on their wedding day. The cry of their two children, was not to see their parents separated. The couple are professionals, and their children are intelligent. The pleading of the children moved the hearts of the parents to the Lord. They reminded their parents regarding the Ten Commandments. The couple are now united. This is the best Christmas gift for this family. The couple thank you all for your love and prayers. Their family and friends gave up hope on them, and even made fun of them when they needed them most, but God intervened and restored their marriage. Praise the Lord.
PRAYER REQUEST
Some of the members from our group, living outstation, will not be able to spend Christmas with their families because of the present worldwide difficult situation. Please pray for God’s peace and rest to be upon them during this time.
On December 14, 2020, we had a Christmas Get-together for Pastors and their spouses at the residence of the Chairman of the Indian Pastors Fellowship. The picture here, shows myself and my husband, Wilfred singing the song ‘How Great Thou Art, with piano music at this event.
I was requested to share a word of encouragement for the Pastors and Spouses. I spoke in English, and the message was interpreted into Tamil by the Chairman of the Indian Pastors Fellowship.
