Thank you to those who prayed!
A recent prayer item on Pastor Timothy’s behalf asked for prayer as follows…
“Pray for Timothy and his 12 co-workers (Church planters) in and around Yangon and in the Chin State and their families, for wisdom and strength and blessing, and for the provision of funds to meet the ongoing costs of their ministries.
Pastor Timothy asks us to pray particularly for provision for a solar power system for Pastor Aung Thang. Pastor Aung Thang with his wife Far Hnem Sung have been ministering in the Hlegu District in the Pegu Division, near Yangon City since 2009. The village where they live and minister in does not have electricity, and the provision of a solar power system – solar plates and inverter/battery – would be very helpful for their water pump, computer work, reading and studying for their children and the orphans they care for and for other activities in their church.
Pray also for Pastor Kei Sum, who ministers in a very populous area of Yangon City. He has a home-based church congregation with 38 members at present and Pastor Kei Sum and his members are seeking to further grow that group with personal evangelism including door to door visitation. Pastor Kei Sum covers a lot of distance in his visitation and has been praying that the Lord will provide an e-bicycle to assist him with his travel.”
God has answered our prayers. Generous donors made it possible for us to send sufficient funds to purchase both the solar power system for Pastor Aung Thang and the e-bicycle for Pastor Kei Sum.
Pastor Timothy wrote earlier this month…
“Aungthang and me bought solar and battery yesterday and he will buy other
needs soon. They praise God and thankful to you. It will help in many ways
for their family and ministry.”
He later wrote…
“I am sending pictures of Aungthang & Sum projects to you with thankful heart. You are great
blessing for us.”
Praise God from whom all blessings flow! Please join with our brothers and sisters in Myanmar in thanking the Lord for His answers to our prayers and continue to pray for these brothers and all who serve with them in the Advent Christian Church of Myanmar.
