“CHRISTIAN MISSION NARATCHAKWAI, THAILAND
September 06, 2020
Greetings from Thailand,
We would like to tell you about our church since it was open in July until now. We hope everybody will miss us.
Since the first Sunday that we have opened the church after the lockdown of Covid-19, we are very afraid that it will affect the children and people who came to the service. Thank you, God for everything that is very good. Many people come to Christian Mission, worship and study about the Bible. Children come to the church and they are very happy. They study the Bible and English, they meet new friends and play together. Thank you, God for everything that is going very well. There are a lot of new people here. Some come here with the whole family, some are little children who follow their friends here, some are teenagers who would like to study English and would like to know about God.
Now we have many prayers that we would like you to pray for us:
- Please pray for Maeo that she fell down twice in a month. The first time that she fell down was in front of her house while she was going to feed her dog and second time was in the kitchen. She got pain on her legs and now she also got pain on her hands and feet where they touch the floor. Please pray for her to get well soon.
- Please pray for Maeo’s brother. His name is Noi, he is very sick now. He doesn’t have family and now he doesn’t have a house also. He is very sick so Maeo let him stay in the church where the children’s classroom is. Thank you, may God help him. He comes back to God’s place and we hope he will open his heart to God and get well soon. Maeo has another brother named Moo. He comes to stay with Noi to take care of him. We hope Moo will open his heart to God too.
- Our church went out to visit old people in Naratchakwai village and gave senior food to them. They looked very happy to see us. Thank you God. We also cooked Soup of Love and fed it to people and children in the church to take God’s love back to their family and gave some to seniors in the village. This was our first time to give Soup of Love after the lock-down of Covid-19. Thank you God that everything went well.
- The leadership meeting of the Christ for all People Church Association is held every 2 months, thank you God that we can hold the meeting and meet with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Please pray for Kudsakoi church that is building a new worship building because the old one was crashed and it could not be used. Please pray for them about the funds to finish the building.
- Please pray for Parn’s mom. She had a piece of something under her skin in the neck area. She had surgery on Monday and took all of it out. Now she is waiting for the result that can tell what it is. Please pray for her.
- Please pray for the girl’s bedding sets at CMN. They are not enough and too old because they have been used for many years. Please pray for the new bedding sets for 7 ladies that are good quality and good price.
- Covid-19 has found in a prisoner in Thailand. This is the first person after we haven’t had any infected person for 100 days. Please pray for Thailand to solve the problem and we hope we will not have to go back to do the quarantine again. Please pray for the other countries that are in a worse situation than us. We hope it will be better in this year.
- Thank you, God for the repairs in CMN. Because of Covid-19, our church had to be closed for 4 months, we have enough money left to do the repairing. The roofs in the lady’s bedroom and the front of the church’s door were leaking. The rain fell and water dropped into the room. Now it has been repaired. We put lights into the dining room of CMN because it was too dark while we were eating lunch. And we also built a steel mesh wall and a door to close the lady’s bedroom from the outside to protect the ladies from danger. Thank you, God for everything.
