Rev Lawrence has an itinerant ministry, ministering to tribal peoples and other groups in the Kanchipuram District of Chennai. As with the rest of the country, poorer people in these areas are suffering severely during the nation-wide lockdown because of Covid 19. Brother Lawrence has sent YJM Mission Manager Immanuel pictures of some of his ministries as, assisted by his wife Ruth, they distributed food and other necessities to those in need, with the following comments…
“Glory be to God,
During the world-wide pandemic of Corona Covid 19 lockdown, people are in crisis for fundamental needs. May God strengthen my faith to face their needs like rice and grocery where I am doing God’s ministry near Chennai.
Sometimes we provided foods to the roadsiders and beggars in corona lockdown. Due to the curfew I could not go to other places, so I sent some vegetables for two weeks through my friends to the needy believers. Thus my God helping me to help others in this pestilence period.
Pray for my family and ministry.”
