Denny Moses has sent details of their ministry to the parents of some of the children who attend St. Xavier’s High School – those who find themselves in difficulties because of the effects of Covid 19, and in particular because of the shutdown that has been imposed on the entire nation of India since 24th March, and which was recently extended from 4th May to 17th May.
As of 6th May, 46,443 confirmed cases of Covid 19 had been recorded in India, with 1,685 deaths. There are about 70,000 people being tested each day!
Please thank the Lord for this further opportunity for the team at Khagaria to show Christian care and compassion for the needy and pray that some of those who received the relief packages may be mindful that they were given in love – God’s love.
Members of the Bihar team led by Pastor Paul Sundar Raj (second from left) packed dozens of food parcels. He was assisted by his wife Sudar Mathi (at left in picture), Pastor Denny Moses (2nd from right holding one of his sons) and many others.
ACMissioNZ has recently sent a further amount to the school to enable the relief work to continue.
We also received pictures showing the progress that is being made on the building of the new school complex for St Xaviers – 17 classrooms and associated administration buildings, to be completed by the end of this year as mandated by the government education authorities.
Please continue to pray that the Lord will continue to provide the necessary funds to enable this deadline to be met and for the school to move to the new premises.
