Pastor T. Daniel, the pastor at the Fellowship of Blessed Hope Churches’ church at Periyakulam in south-west Tamil Nadu has advised that he had the privilege of baptising six new members of his congregation on the 1st of August.
Periyakulam is one of two churches in that area which came back into the FBHC fold in November 2017 after several years in the hands of a group of “rebel” pastors. Pastor T. Daniel was appointed Pastor at that time and has done a wonderful job of rebuilding the church and its congregation and its ministries. The membership of the church now stands at 35 families – about 95 members – and they have begun reaching out and are now conducting services and ministry in a new area called Chemman Kuzhi.
Please thank the Lord for these six new members of His family and pray that they may grow in grace and the knowledge of their Saviour. Please pray also for the church’s outreach into the new area, asking that before too long there may be there, by God’s grace and the work of the Holy Spirit, folk who come to know Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
