The folks at Christian Mission are experiencing the heat of their summer at the moment!
The Facebook post from their morning service on 14 July read…
“Thanks God for today. The weather today’s very hot, but we are happy to worship here. We are happy to see each other again. God bless you. ❤”
On 10 July the CMN team reported…
“At Ban Nong Bua School we went to visit a kid who had been treated for heart disease since kindergarten. He has to see the doctor again in the next three years. Now he has the opportunity to study in grade 4. Thank you TLCB* for helping.”
{*TLCB – Thai Laos Cambodia Brotherhood – is an organization of retired United States service men, most of whom served in the area during the Vietnam War, who send considerable amounts of funds to the area, to provide scholarships and facilities, and in this case medical costs, for children and schools. The late John Middlewood was their agent, and this task is now undertaken by a member of the congregation at CMN. This connection has given CMN entry into many, many schools in the area.}
On 8 July, the leaders from the six-member churches of the Christ for All People Church Association met together for their regular fellowship, prayer and planning meeting, this month at the Nong Khon Khaen Church in Mookdahan province.
Christian Mission’s monthly food packages were distributed to two needy families from that church.
