CMN Leadership Team leader Ploy writes…
“May 20, 2019
Greetings from Thailand.
We would like to tell you about our activities in April and May. These are our update details.
Last month, we celebrated Songkran’s Day (Thai’s New Year) at the church on 14th of April, we wore flower screen shirts and it looked colorful. Thank you God for today.
On April 24, 2019 we went to give Soup of Love at Ban Pai Lom. Some people were afraid to get the soup but there were a lot of children and seniors who came to get the soup with smiles and happy. After that, we got chance to visit Bow, she was very happy.
It made me think about the words in Revelation 3:20 New Living Translation (NLT) “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.”
Thank you for the services in April. We came to the church to worship God together, it was such a great time for us.
Please pray for Tik, there are many problems in her life and her family. Her husband is addicted to drugs and his relatives don’t like her. They think she doesn’t like them and that she is strange because she is a Christian and she is from Laos. She asked us to pray for her husband to come back to God’s way.
Thank you God for May, children are coming back from their summer holidays(??).
We have the prayer meeting in the morning at 9 o’clock because Boontaa and his family would like to join the meeting. Thank you God for this. We are praying hard for this family. Even though they have many problems about health in their family, they never tire to work for God.
We teach English to the children in the afternoon and children are happy. On Sunday afternoons, we change our bedroom to be a classroom because the weather is so hot! We thank you God for the support and people who pray for our ministry.
We divide the duties to post photos on our Facebook page, we start the first month with Parn. We will change the duty every month. I’m going to let them make the timetable by themselves but maybe not too soon. I don’t want to force them too much. It will help our team members know about the church’s works and they can do everything by themselves when Ploy and Parn graduate. And finding some new generations is important too, please pray for this. We would like to continue the church as long as possible.
You may wonder why there are a lot of yellow clothes here, we have to wear yellow all month to celebrate for the new King and Queen of Thailand. Please pray for Thailand.
Thank you God for Bee, she came to visit us this Sunday. We were very happy to have Bee with us.
Please pray for the Blu tribe in Laos, they are poor and working hard to live for God. The leader is working hard to change a part of his house to be a small church and find some food and clothes for children and people there. He also helps the villagers when he gets some donations from people who would like to help them, although they have to eat only noodles with rice. There are many people come to worship God with him and some people are going to open their hearts to God. Please pray for this family.
Please pray for P, he is Fai’s brother, Fai is a scholarship student of TLCB. They lost their mother this year and their father got a new wife. Sometimes he neglects them and Fai doesn’t have enough money to pay for her younger brother to go to school each day because the money from TLCB’s scholarship and the Educational Loan Fund are only way that she gets money and it’s not enough to feed two students. Please pray for them.
Please pray and encourage us. Thank you very much.” Please follow our Facebook page: Christianmission.
I have attached some photos and special for this month! I attached a testimony that tells about how Ploy became a Christian. We hope you enjoy reading our update.
God bless you.
