Christian Mission Naratchakwai, Thailand October 23, 2018

October 26, 2018 Filed Under: Newsletters | Thailand

Greeting from Christian Mission, Thailand

This is the news update of CMN for October. We all here are happy and enjoy our life. We all here are praying for everybody around the world. We have a prayer meeting every Saturday at 3 pm. after cleaning the church at the afternoon. Then we prepare the activities and songs after the meeting. If you have something that you want us to pray for, please tell us and we will pray for you.

Parn and Ploy are having some mid-term tests in this month. Lita is happy with her study in the university. Job, Guitar, KaoPun and GungGing are on vacation and the school will open next month. Maeo is sick, her leg was getting bigger. The doctor said it’s something wrong with her vein. It can’t work well. She is hurt when she walks. The doctor said if she is not better she should admit to the hospital but thank you God that she is better and almost fine now. Please pray for her. Please pray for Boontaa’s family, his daughter and his wife are always sick. We hope they will be healthy.

Nakhon Phanom is the province where we live. It is going to celebrate the Fire Boat Festival in October 17-25, 2018. It will have a lot of people come to watch the Fire Boat and enjoy the festival. Please pray for people in Nakhon Phanom and others to come and travel with safety and have a good trip in Nakhon Phanom.

We have a big news in this month. Maeo sold her house already. On the last Saturday, Maeo told us that she had sold her house and she will build the new house in the church area, they will live in the apartment with us until the new house is finish. My friends and some of our team members moved the books, tables, CDs and tapes and everything that necessary out from Dr. John’s room and the student’s classroom to the church and some books and tapes were move upstairs to Parns’ and Ploy’s bedroom. Everything is almost finish, but on Tuesday which is today, Maeo said her son decided to renovate the apartment to be their new house. Next month the new owner will move in. So, Maeo and her son’s family will move to stay in the apartment. They decided to renovate the apartment where we sleep and teach to be their new house. Maeo will build our new bedroom in the church, she decides to build more roof and make 2 new rooms, one for us to sleeping and one for working for the church. So, we are preparing to move everything out from the apartment to the church as soon as possible. This weekend we will sleep at the apartment for the last time. We miss Dr. John very much. God will choose the best way for us. This is a good way for Maeo and her family, they don’t have to build a new house because they already have it. We will get the new bedroom to sleep together in one big room and we will get new working room. We wish everything will be okay. I attached a photo that show CMN’s map, so you will easier understand what I am telling in the message.

God bless you.

Love,

Christian Mission Naratchakwai, Thailand.

Please pray for:

  1. Maeo’s leg to be better soon.
  2. The vacation of the students.
  3. The Fire Boat Festival in Nakhon Phanom.
  4. New house for Maeo’s family and new rooms for us.
  5. Our church activities and children.
  6. Boontaa’s family

God bless you,

Love,

Ploy

Ploy also sent some more pictures of the Fire Boat Festival, which is held on the Mekong River, beside which the city of Nakhon Phanom is situated.
