The Advent Christian Conference of India’s church at Ananthapuram (pronounced anandarburam!) were blessed to have seven baptisms on the 5th of March. Mission Manager Immanuel was not able to attend on that date but he attended the morning service on 19 March to present new Bibles to those who had been baptised.
Pastor Aaron advised Immanuel that many years ago, before the church building was erected, there was a small bungalow on the site which the missionaries of the time used to visit for short periods from time to time, living in the house as a base for their ministries in the area. The church now has about 20 families in membership (about 75 people) and about 50 were present at the service which Immanuel attended.
Please rejoice with the congregation for the blessing of seven new members of their part of the great, worldwide, Christian family, and pray for the seven who were baptised, asking the Lord that they may grow in the grace and in the knowledge of their Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
