Pastor Paul Gandham and his son Victor Abraham are based at Adda Road Advent Christian Church in the State of Andhra Pradesh, but have several small, outreach groups in nearby areas.
The latest is a mountain village about 2km from Adda Road – Balayenkatapuram. Pastors Paul Gangham and Victor Abraham have been working in that area for some time and recently erected a “shed” there in which his small group meets. In India a shed is a small, very cheap building made of natural materials such as the one in the picture below which shows Pastor Paul Gandham interacting with some of the residents in the village. Sometimes the low side walls are made of mud or bricks but the roof is always thatched with coconut palm fronds.
The people of the area and in the village are very poor, but the pastors are working with a group of 15 members to introduce them to the Gospel and their Saviour.
The Adda Road church recently received a further gift from the ACGC’s BREAD OF LIFE programme and took them and some of their families to the Adda Road church and gave them a good meal using some of the gift. There is another, similar group in a village about 20 kilometres from Adda Road and he will be using the rest of the gift to give them a good meal also.
The pastors and the recipients of the meal were very grateful to those in the United States who had donated the money. Thank you very much.
Pastor Paul asks us to rejoice with his Christian family at Adda Road as they recently had the joy of witnessing an elderly lady (65 years old) – Rose -witnessing publicly to her faith in Jesus Christ with her baptism.
Please pray for Rose and those who will be leading her and accompanying her on her journey of faith.
