Rev B. Balu Nayak, the leader of BalunayaK Banjara Tribal Ministries had the joy of dedicating a new church building for his satellite congregation in the small, native village of Baluthanda where he was born and raised, in Andhra Pradesh State, in November 2015. Baluthanda is about 8 kilometres from the large town of Mahabubabad, and since November he has been concentrating on providing a permanent home for his congregation in that town where he now lives. His congregation in Mahabubabad numbers about 60 believers and they presently meet in believers’ homes which are always very crowded and uncomfortable.
Rev Balu Nayak recently sent Mission Manager Immanuel an update on the progress of his project to provide a church building and ultimately a home for himself and his family. He wrote…
“By Gods grace and your prayer and your several times valuable financial support our Church is growing wonderfully and also we have successful completed our Mahabubabad main church roof work also.
Ayya, yesterday we removed the centering. [Centering is what they call the formwork and props on which they pour a concrete roof] I am sending current progress pictures of our Mahabubabad Church building to you. We so thankful to Jesus and also you for all above works done.”
Please pray for Brother Balu Nayak, his family and his ministries, asking the Lord to provide the necessary funds to enable them to complete this project to provide a place of meeting and worship for his believers.
Pray especially for this ministry which is an enthusiastic participant in ACGC’s Bread of Life program presently in operation – for many years Brother Balu Nayak has ministered in many practical ways to the poor and needy and homeless folk in the city and district, and the extra funds from the Bread of Life project have allowed him to do much more this year. Eventually they will build a home for the pastor and his family on the roof of the present structure.
