Pastor David has sent details of one of his organisation’s church planters in a very remote area of his country – on the north-western border adjoining India’s Nagaland State. He advises that the Naga area is one of the many unreached with the Gospel areas of his country and is very remote. Access to many villages is very difficult, even with a motor cycle, which often has to be carried over rivers and some steep areas of the countryside and mountains.
Pastor S. Tun was a classmate of Pastor David’s as they studied for their Master’s degrees some years ago and he has been working very hard already, sharing the Gospel on a one to one basis, going from village to village and has already seen the Lord’s blessing in the lives of many young men and women who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord. He has been able to plant a small church (Fellowship Baptist Church)and some of these folk are very supportive of Pastor Tun and his efforts to share the Gospel with others, and sometimes accompany him on his travels to other areas.
Please pray that the Lord will meet their practical needs – monthly support, a guitar and a camera are especially needed – and will bless them with fruit for their labours.
