Since our visit, services and Sunday activities at Christian Mission have continued each Sunday.
On Sunday 17th January Ploy wrote:
“We are here to worship again! Thank you God for bringing us here and thank you for the weather.
It’s not too hot today.”
Some new, first-time attenders were welcomed…
…and the children listened intently to their English lesson!
On 24 January, Ploy wrote as she posted pictures to the Mission’s Facebook page…
( https://www.facebook.com/Christianmission-189919524539566/ )
“Thank you God for sending us here again.
The weather is very cold and windy today and while we are singing it’s raining!”
She told us later in the week that the temperature in the area had reached a 40 year low of 10 degrees Celsius (50 degrees F). It is no wonder that the congregation was well wrapped up in warm clothes!
On 31 January the weather was back to normal and Ploy wrote…
“Last day of January! We are here again to worship! The weather is good today and everybody is happy.”
During the week that followed, the international newspapers should have carried a headline something like:
“YOUNG LEADER FROM CHRISTIAN MISSION NARATCHAKWAI GIVES PRESENTATION TO THAILAND’S MINISTER OF SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND HUMAN SECURITY”
During the week, CMN’s Lita Chris travelled to Bangkok to represent her high school and present their entry in a conservation competition. Her school’s entry won second runner-up place in the national competition and she was chosen to travel to Bangkok to attend a function at which the country’s Minister of Social Development and Social Security was the guest of honour and to present the project to the gathering.

World famous in Bangkok!! We are very proud of you Lita!! May God continue to bless you and use you in His service.
