Pastor Joseph has again visited a remote, unreached with the Gospel area of his country, this time to the LeTu and Zutu people in the Rakhine State.
He has reported on his trip as follows…
“We started our mission trip to Rakhine State on 19 December 2015 and it ended on 31 December 2015. We are so excited to tell you all about how God is moving on unreached people groups. Our mission trip to Rakhine State was great and an amazing journey with the Lord.
- How to go there.
We cross Bago division, Maygone division, and reach to Rakhine by bus in one day and one night. After then we go to village by boat in two days where car cannot go there. And we walk by foot for two days. We cross rivers, streams, hills, mountain pass, and valley so on and preached the salvation of Jesus.
- How to do outreach
We do seminar in two places. We preach the salvation of Jesus Christ.
- We reach to 11 village of Letu and Zutu
- We preach to 555 people of Letu and Zutu
- We baptized 58 people of Letu and Zutu
- Many young people decide to serve the Lord.
- Shaman* has become a believer of Jesus.
- How the Holy Ghost was moving on this people
God touch their heart and lives. The Holy Ghost touch their mind and heart and many souls changed their lives to the Lord. Some get healing and many of them get salvation.
- Many people are worshipper of demons
Many people from this place believe in demons as their gods. While we are preaching the good news about Jesus some people still denying what we say. They joking us. They insult us.
- They are ready to follow Jesus
When some of men come to believe Jesus as his personal Savior his wife want to divorce him. When some of women come to love Jesus as her personal Savior her husband want to divorce her. But he/she who believe Jesus as his/ her personal Savior are ready to follow Jesus whatever difficulties.
- Many of followers want to stop us
Some of people want to stop us what we are doing for the Lord. They ask us not to preach in their areas. They make us trouble. But God is with us and they cannot stop us.
- Letu people, Zutu people.
God touched the life of Letu and Zutu people in this month of December 2015!”
Please thank the Lord for Joseph and his team for their willingness to travel into these difficult to access areas to preach the Gospel, and thank and praise the Lord for the work of the Holy Spirit in touching so many lives and bringing them to trust in Jesus Christ as Saviour.
