One of the conditions in the YJM Partnership Agreement is the requirement to provide regular reports to the Mission office at Guindy giving an indication of the activities of the partners and seeking their prayer requests and matters for praise. Below are some recent information from recent reports – we invite you to pray and praise with us for these ministries also.

They still need counselling and it is being taken care of. Up to recent times there were decreasing numbers of addicts but quite recently hashish users are on the rise amongst the youngsters.
Please pray for our HIV/AIDS individual and their families. ”

CHRIST SPECIAL HIGH SCHOOL
A residential High School for the physically and intellectually challenged at Sangkarapuram, Tamil Nadu.
Led by Pastor Paul Nilivan.
Until recently this school cared for about 100 children, 32 of whom were physically and/or intellectually handicapped and the rest were orphans or disadvantaged children from very poor families who could not care for them. Sadly the Indian government has imposed further restrictions on institutions which care for children and have insisted that the school only care for handicapped children. It now cares only for the 32 handicapped children! We need to pray for a government that makes it so difficult for Christian organisations to care for some of the huge number of children in the country who need care and assistance, but does nothing to contribute to their care! The school is presently planning and preparing to start a school for the deaf and dumb within the complex.
Using funds from a donation from a supporting church in Australia they have recently purchased some physiotherapy equipment. These enable the handicapped children to learn exercises for the improvement of their limbs. The boys do handcraft and make useful articles and the girls learn sewing. Boys and girls learn to use computers. Once the girls have finished their school system education they conduct a nursing course for them.
The funds that Yesuway Jeevan Mission send the school each month is used to provide personal items for the students such as soap, oil, toothpaste, talcum powder etc.
Pastor Nilivan asks…
“Please pray for our staff, teachers, Correspondent, Headmaster, Managing Trustee, Financial Trustee and their families and for our students’ health and their families.”

The school has been in operation since 1990 and has approximately 450 students, in classes ranging from Lower Kindergarten to Standard 10, taught by 18 teachers. About half of the students’ homes are 60 to 80 kms from the school and they live in a hostel at the school, whilst the others travel daily to school.
Led by Thirumathi (Mrs) Roselle Monsang
Because of a gift from a generous Kiwi supporter, we were able to send some funds to the school last month. We received the following acknowledgement of that gift as follows…

CHANDEL, MANIPUR, INDIA.( A NOTE OF APPRECIATION )
We, the Management Committee of this institution would like to express our profound appreciation to the New Zealand friends through brother Immanuel (Chennai, India), for their generous response to the call of trying times of this institution’s funds drought to meet the basic needs, while the institution is exerting all its resources to carry on this ministry through these poor children of this region, for the glorification of our Creator, Almighty God.
According to the apostle Paul – different parts each play own part for one body, our Savior Jesus Christ – to give is better than receive. From you to us & from us to others and so on in the Christian World. With the best compliments of the Christmas & bright future in the coming New Year,2016,
