The Zamin Pallavaram Church of the Advent Christian Conference of India invited Mission Manager Immanuel to attend a baptismal service at their church on Sunday 8 November. Four people were baptised that morning and two had been baptised the Sunday before.
The Zamin Pallavaram church was started in 1952, with just a few members, in a small hut by AAM missionaries Miss Marion Damon and Miss Beryl Joy Hollis. There are now 60 families in membership with a total of 300 believers attending services.
The present Pastor is Pastor D. Semion.
After the baptisms Immanuel presented Bibles to five of the six candidates and gave a short greeting. The President of the Advent Christian Conference of India, Rev Francis Thangadurai, was also present and offered the right hand of fellowship to welcome the new members into the worldwide family of God.
Please pray for these new brothers and sisters in the Lord, that they may grow in grace and in the knowledge of their Saviour.
