Pastor David, leader of the Fellowship Bible Church of Myanmar and one of the leaders of the Advent Christian Conference of Myanmar, recently reported as follows concerning a new outreach ministry of his organisation.
“Greetings – we are happy to report about our ministry expanding to the border of India, to the NAGA area. Naga area is still difficult to go to and share the gospel and is an unreached area in Myanmar.
Last many years ago God stir my heart to pray for NAGA people in Myanmar. In our home church I share and we were praying long time ago.
Last year when I was doing my Master’s degree in Yangon one of my classmates, his name is S.Tun, [picture left] and now he went back to NAGA and plant for new church.
He is a good man and with strong faith in Christ. He is also faithful in the ministry of God.
Please remember in your prayer for our missionary S.Tun and the Naga people. God wants to spread the gospel of Christ to NAGA people. God wants to establish his church among NAGA people, through our missionary S.Tun.
Thanks for your supporting with your prayer and [other possible way.
Brother S Tun was a member of a Baptist church in the Naga area but following his time in Yangon studying when he met Pastor David, he has decided to return to the Naga area and plant a new church under the auspices of the Fellowship Church of Myanmar. The group of young Naga people shown in the picture at right, are from the Baptist church he attended – S. Tun is on the left in the front row.
