Pastor Roy Rocha recently reported as follows….
“Dear MINISTRY PARTNERS @ ACMissioNZ,
I praise God for you always keeping us in your prayers!
This summer was filled with many God glorifying activities. Great ministry events happened as result to your prayers and our faithfulness in his calling.
Our great summer ministry event started with baptism of two of my bible study fellowship in an office of World Class Laminate Incorporated, a company where I conducted Bible study every Friday. (Picture below left) Grant Aldridge had a chance to speak in this Bible Study at times when he visited me in Manila. The baptism took place in one of a local resort in Laguna, Philippines. It was part of our 7th year Anniversary celebration as a Fellowship in the said company. (Picture below right)
The next great event was our Daily Vacation Bible School. On April 20-26, 2015, we hosted our regular summer Daily Vacation Bible School. Kids numbering to 60 came to attend. It was exciting to see kids from our community being ministered to and at the same time enjoying the fun and games. (Picture below)The 3rd great ministry event in which I am thankful is the success of my trip to Cagayan de Oro, Bohol, and Tacloban together with my wife llerma and our newly meet friends from US. The ministry was so encouraging and edifying for our brothers and sisters in the Lord in those places. Young People just opened their hearts to the Lord and committed their lives for the works of ministry is a great and God glorifying accomplishment.
The last but definitely not the least is the baptism of 7 young people. The baptism happened last May 10 after our Mother’s Day celebration. (Pictures below) These new believers are also inviting their friends to join our church services here at New Life In Christ. This is surely the result of our intensified discipleship program.
I really praise God that each year since 2009 we always have two baptisms event, 1st after Christmas or at least before the year ends, and 2nd is during summer. Souls are coming to Christ.
Truly, I really appreciate your times spent in praying for us! My prayer requests:
- Pray for safety on our trip to Iligan City as we attend the BPACCI Biennial Convention this coming May 20-22, 2015. I and my wife, together with 3 other Pastors from Manila are coming to attend.
- Pray that our needs be meet for the school fees for my kids. Starting June, 2 of my kids will be in College. My eldest son, Jojo, will be in his final year as 4th year Information Technology student, while my daughter, Keziah, will be freshman this year and is thinking of taking B.S. Psychology.
