The Philippine Advent Christian Conference (BPACCI) was blessed to see 2015 dawning with a new church plant situated in the far-western part in the island of Mindanao. Traveling from Cagayan de Oro, it requires 12 hours of travel by bus to reach the area.
Through the relentless commitment of Pastor Julieto (Totong) Bonifacio, BPACCI now takes possesion in the Zamboanga City. From holding the pastorate at Naburos Advent Christian Church in 2009, Pastor Bonifacio intentionally made a decision to go home to Pasonangca (a barangay belonging to this city), his birthplace, to be able to minister to his own family, who at that time was in urgent need to know and receive the gospel.
A couple of years passed, and he reported he was able to conduct water baptism to his mother, one of his sisters and a nephew.
Early this year, the Ministerial Department Director Rev. Virgilio Pallo, Rev. Eleazar Comajig and Efren Miranda officially acknowledged the new outreach – a house church of five families now conducts regular church services.
The photo below shows the visiting team with Pastor Bonifacio (holding a Bible third from right, standing), his wife and the two couples who attended the baptismal class. The rest of the pictures are from a baptismal ceremony held three days later.
Praise God for His many blessings!!!
