Greetings from us here again. Lots of activity and all the kids are back in school now. Thank God for that.
With school back in session, we renew our student support. Through TLCB, we are able to provide assistance for about 30 students, both high school and university. I thought you might like to see some pictures of these kids. In addition, the Christian Mission is able to support another 10-12 students. One of these is a seminary student in her third year. She is from one of the churches in our group. Another is a first year university student – English major wanting to be a teacher – from another one of our churches. We thank and praise God for all of you who make this possible.
Since the start of this newsletter to today ( May 26) lots of things have happened and we ask for your prayers.
The Army has taken over the government and removed all of the leaders and put military leaders in place. There is a 10 pm to 5 am curfew for all of Thailand and meetings of more than 5 people are not allowed. One exception that I know of is church, so we will have church on Sunday, but no Saturday program for the time being.
Prayer points:
- Pray for Thailand and the leadership
- Pray for Fah. She has been admitted to the Psychiatric Hospital with a complete relapse, probably due to the problems at home.
- Pray for Kim. She and her husband are having serious problems again – this may have caused Fah’s problems.
- Pray for Bee, Ploy, Parn and Lita. School is back in full swing again and these girls are carrying double loads with school and the church. In addition, Bee, Jane and Fanta may not be able to attend all Saturday and Sunday functions because of student teaching requirements.
Thank you for your prayers and support. God Bless, John, Maeo, Dtee and the girls.
