John’s Blog | 29th November 2013

December 9, 2013 Filed Under: John's Newsletter, Newsletters, Newsletters | Thailand

tag_thailand_johnAnother month has passed and time does not seem to be going any slower. We have been a bit busy.

November 15 was our last English Camp for the year. Our team traveled to a village about 30 miles south of the Mission. Three schools combined to give us 80 4-6 grade students to work with. The program lasted from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. The week of December 2 Maeo and I will visit the schools to see if they are implementing what was taught at the camp.

November 16 Bee preached the message and will be preaching again December 29. Please pray for confidence, wisdom and strength as she continues to grow in grace.

November 18 Maeo and I traveled to Sakon Nakhon for medical checks and medicine refills. Praise God all went well.

November 23. Combined youth meeting at Kusuman. About 25 youth were present and had a great time.

November 24. Combined worship service at Nong Khon Kaen. About 125 people present for the service. Singing, fellowship and sermon were rewarding.

November 27.Return to Nong Khon Kaen for funeral – second one in two weeks.

November 28. John and Maeo back to Sakon Nakhon last round of medical checks. All is well until January 2014.

Prayer Points:

  •  Thank and praise God Ploy has moved back in Fri-Sunday nights and has started to work in the church. She will be a great addition in teaching both English and Bible study for younger kids.
  • Thank and praise God we will have two new first year university English majors wanting to be teachers move in December 1. Both are non-believers, so Bee and Lita will be talking to them. Pray God will open their hearts and they will accept Christ.
  • Pray for Bee, Lita, Pan and Ploy, our current believing leaders; pray for Jane, Fanta,  Tat and the two new girls – that God will open their hearts to Christ.
  • Beem 2 has returned on Saturday and Sunday, but I have seen nothing to indicate a change in her mind or heart. Continue to pray for her.

Thanks and God Bless.
