Please pray for those in the Philippines.
A typhoon has struck Cebu which is affecting our church in Banilad. Heavy rains are falling which could further damage the church walls which have been damaged by the recent earthquakes. Trees on the property next door to the church have come down and brushed against the damaged wall but have not worsened its condition at this point. Several church members are sheltering in the church for the sake of safety and security.
Pastor Jonathan Navacilla has requested urgent prayer on his and his members’ behalf.
Pastor Jonathan has also moved downstairs from his rooms into the church in case further damage is caused by the typhoon.
Thank you for your concern and prayers on their behalf.
Cagayan De Oro is also being affected by the same typhoon. I have not had any details except that all schools and colleges have been closed for two days, yesterday and today,
Because of the same typhoon.
