A quick review of the last couple of weeks to bring you up to date.
Saturday, September 7th. Combined youth meeting at Kuseman church.. Numbers were smaller but all had a great time.
September 9th , monthly combined prayer group meeting and association meeting. Starting to plan for the annual association meeting the first of December. Maeo and I departed from the prayer group to Sakon Nakhon to spend a quiet night before medical checks on September 10th. Praise and thank God, according to the doctor, we are in good shape – for our ages. All medications were refilled and we go back in 70 days. Complete bloodwork stuff will be done next time, whatever that means.
September 14th English Camp at Noi Na Nuea Elementary School. Almost 100 students and 12 volunteers conducting classes. The assistant director for the district was there and our program has finally been recognized as worthwhile. Praise God. We pray for God’s direction from here.
September 15th at the Christian Mission – a full day program with 48 people in attendance – praise God and pray for teachers
September 15th Church Service and Bee presented her second message to the youth. Please pray for her and her gifts. Students are starting to pay attention to here and listen to her message. Another blessing from God – 52 people in attendance.
September 16th we were notified of Mr Peng’s death – covered in the prayer request.
Also, we were notified that Mr. Boonta’s wife will be bedridden for at least 6 months. She will be released from the hospital on September 20 for home care by Mr Boonta. There is no such thing as medical home care where we are. More on this in another newsletter.
September 18th will be pretty much taken up with the funeral of Mr. Peng.
September 21, God willing, another English Camp with over 80 students from 3 schools and another 12 volunteers.
September 22 will be the combined church worship service for our association and I have been asked to preach. Please pray for me for that.
Now, I will put the pictures together and thank and praise God for your prayer and financial support.
May God Bless and Keep. John and Maeo and the Christian Mission Girls
