Last week was a busy one for the Christian Mission, in addition to all of the regular activities. After a day off on Monday we spent Tuesday visiting 7 new schools who want to become involved in our English Program. Wednesday was spent getting the money from the Thai Lao Cambodia Brotherhood for the next two months and getting it spent. That also took care of most of Thursday. Friday morning was spent attending a science fair at one of the high schools we work with and then in the afternoon picking up the team visiting from TLCB. They will be here through Wednesday morning. Saturday there was a full program her at the Christian Mission with about 40 kids in attendance and our University Team conducted an English camp for about 85 elementary students. Today, Sunday we had a full program again with Bible Study, Worship and sermon, lunch and English from 9 am to 3 pm. We had a new record with 48 people in attendance for church this morning. Thank and praise God for his grace, his blessings and his love.
We now have 2 elementary choirs with 12 children in each one. I am praying that we will be able to start getting some of our children’s music up on our website in the near future.
Prayer points:
- Praise and thank God as he has turned things we thought were bad into things that have been very good for the Christian Mission.
- Continue to pray for Bee, Pan, Lita and Beem 2 as they continue to carry the major workload and increased load of additional students in the variety of classes.
- Pray for Jane and Fanta and Tat as they continue to help as much as they can – without having accepted Christ.
- Pray for strength, health and wisdom for John and Maeo and Dtee as the only adults at the mission at the present time.
