WILFRED’S BROTHER HEALED.
Wilfred’s younger brother, Simon was under observation at a hospital in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for kidney stones and swelling of the pancreas. A few days ago, the doctors announced that he need not undergo surgery. Earlier he was told that surgery would be necessary, but now they have found signs of healing. When we visited him at the hospital, he was in much pain, but now he has been sent home. He often calls us. He conveys his thanks to your prayer team. Praises to the Lord for His wonder-working miracle power.
We met a Malaysian Indian business man (non-Christian) by the name of Sinniah at a restaurant recently. After a friendly conversation about current affairs in the nation, he asked us whether we were Christians. Because he asked us about Churches, we had the opportunity to tell him about Jesus and our personal testimonies. Praise to the Lord. We were able to witness to a total stranger for 30 minutes. While we were sharing, there were others nearby who were listening to our conversation, including the restaurant owner. The business man will be visiting us soon. Please pray that every word he heard about Jesus will take root in his heart and that the Holy Spirit will do a deeper work in him as we continue to share His Word with him.
SHARING JESUS WITH A MALAYSIAN BUSINESS COUPLE FROM OVERSEAS.
Last month, we were outstation to visit our contacts. At our contact’s place, we were introduced to a wealthy couple who were on holiday in Malaysia. They are Malaysians who have migrated overseas. During our conversation, the gentleman told us that his father was a wealthy merchant in Kluang in the 1970’s. We then realized who his father was, as my late parents (Rev. & Mrs. T. Devairakkam) were renting one of his father’s houses, and that was where they pioneered the Advent Christian Church in Kluang. One of his nephew’s attended our ACC Sunday School. He is a Christian now, in another part of Malaysia. We shared Jesus to this couple, and they started to share about themselves. The Lord opened His creative way to share Jesus to them. They made a decision for Christ. After we returned to Kluang, our contact called us to say that they followed her to Church that evening. They have returned overseas. They said that they will find a Church to attend, together with their family.
Pray for our contacts who are sharing Jesus to the people in their neighborhood and community, that there will be an awakening of their spiritual senses upon hearing the Gospel.
You are part of every good thing that the Lord is doing in the individual lives of the people we are ministering to, in Malaysia. Thank you for your prayers.
