tag_thailand_johnGreetings and God’s love to all of you. This set, I am going to break the newsletters down a bit and try to make them a bit shorter and for the most part, pertain to only one subject and a prayer list.

For this letter I would like to introduce you to Dtaa. Dtaa is a member and youth leader at the Church in Nong Khon Kaen, Mukdahan Province. She is beginning her second year at Payao Bible College and has plans of becoming a pastor or youth leader.

During her spring break she spent one week at a youth seminar on teaching younger children. She spent three weeks here at the Christian Mission, While here she participated in all of the programs at the Christian Mission, including attending prayer group 7 days a week. She also spent three evenings a week in visitation in our village. She visited parents and relatives of elementary students who attend the Christian Mission and some of the youth that have left the Christian Mission. She and Bee, our youth leader, are already planning our Bible Camp for elementary student’s in October.

She also spent mornings in an intensive English Class and acted as leader and tutor for the younger girls in attendance.

Dtaa has indicated she wishes to come here every summer and would like to do her internship here with us. She has been an excellent helper and I am sending a letter to the Bible College requesting that she be allowed to do her internship here.

The Christian Mission provides for her tuition costs and a monthly stipend to meet personal needs while at school.

Prayer points:

  1. Pray funding will continue.
  2. Pray that Dtaa will continue to be focused on God and his plan for her life.
  3. Pray for her family that they will continue to support her through prayer.

Thanks and God Bless, John and Maeo
