Greetings from Thailand.
Short prayer request.
The last 3 days have given us two more typhoons through here. Wednesday we were without power for about 8 hours; today the power went off at 2am, May 3 and finally came back at about 4 pm. This is more typhoons than I have seen in several years. The rain is welcome and much needed, but the wind is doing great damage. The older Thai houses are poorly built and some have been destroyed. Trees are down in many areas. The Christian Mission, since the first storm has suffered very, very little, with a few banana trees knocked down and lack of power. We thank and praise God that the damage has been minor and pray it will continue. As I said earlier, if this is a sample of what is to come, we are in for a rough rainy season from now until the end of September, first of October.
Thanks for your prayers and God Bless, John
