THAILAND – TYPHOON / HURRICANE DAMAGE to CHRISTIAN MISSION NARATCHAKWAI

March 26, 2013 Filed Under: John's Newsletter, Newsletters, Newsletters | Thailand

UPDATE John reports further – Sunday 24 March:
Special prayers, please for John and Maeo. The trip to Khon Kaen, combined with two typhoons through here our first two days back have put both Maeo and John under the weather. Maeo started her round while in Khon Kaen and has started to recover. Except for a trip to the doctor for a shot and other medications, John has been in bed since Friday evening. It is now Sunday evening. There was no church service today. The children who showed up practiced for Easter Sunday.

Brother John Middlewood reported as follows on Saturday 23 March…

“Hi Ernie,

Here is why we are praying to be able to enclose the worship center. The rainy season isn’t even here yet, and we have had two typhoons/hurricanes through here in the last few days. Both Maeo and I are down with colds, so I haven’t been able to get out and check the financial damage.  The three girls living here spent most of yesterday and part of today cleaning up the debris. Have to get the awning man in and see what the cost is going to be there.

Pray I am well enough on Monday to start getting repairs done. Please pray for both Maeo and I. Thanks and God Bless, John”

Please pray for a quick and complete recovery for John and Maeo. Please thank the Lord that once again some of “the girls” were on hand to assist with the clean-up when John was not able to attend to it. Please pray that the Lord will provide the funds needed to enclose the worship centre with permanent walls – John has advised that the cost will be between US$2,000 and $3,000.
