MYANMAR Pastor T

February 23, 2013 Filed Under: Newsletters | Myanmar, Pastor Timothy

Pastor T, one of the leaders of the Advent Christian Conference of Myanmar who has just relinquished the position of President of the Conference after serving in that position during 2012, is very busy in ministry both in his home city and further afield in other States. He reports briefly often – below are some of his recent reports – please pray for him and his ministries and his large family of orphans.

15 January

“Thank you very much for Mosquito nets to Bro T villagers.
Bro T informed me yesterday by phone, my father is very serious in health so I can go to (name withheld for security) State in the end of this month.
If I go to {his} State T’s villagers can receive mosquito nets not delay.”

25 January

“Thanks for gift US$80 (64000 kyats) from K. We will try to send you picture when T provide mosquito-nets to his villagers. I will advise him to provide poorest families first this time.

My family will start our orphanage building before the end of Feb 2013. I will try to send the building picture to you when we started. Please pray for the building – now I am trying to get permission from the Gov.
Thanks a lot for your prayer and help.”

29 January

“Two of my children finished their B.Th course on Sat 26 January 2013.
One will continue his Bible Study to India and other one has a plan to go to Thailand – southern part – and to work in evangelism and church planting among Burmese people. (see picture below)
One pastor A and his home Church joined our Advent Christian Church of Myanmar on 27 Jan 2013.
A got B.Th degree from Evangelism and Church planting School. His wife is a medical Nurse.”

12 February

“My wife is very busy for children and church. She is working for all family members clothes.
We have two sewing machines and one is using when the electric power come, another one is not need electric power.
More than two weeks ago earth quaked in Yangon area and 70 chickens were death in my chicken farm. But now chicken dying is no more (stopped two days ago).

One picture is  K.Th adopted orphan, receiving a reward at her School.
Other pictures are my wife and sewing machine, children with chicken farm behind.
We will start orphan house building next week and will finish the end of May (two floors).”
