Several quick items for prayer, praise and thank God and just good news
My Health
Thank and praise God for all of your prayers. I had a medical check today – my blood work and all other tests were within normal limits and, in fact, pretty good for someone as ancient as me. My blood pressure is under control with lots of rest and close watching. I have changed my diet, started an exercise program and reduced my work day. I have to watch my blood pressure for the next month. If it stays okay, I can increase work a bit and see what happens.
Thanks and praise God.
We have been praying for a long time for a pastor to assist here at the Christian Mission. A couple visited with us on Sunday, took a lot of information back with them and will return in early March for in depth interviews, discussions and an opportunity to preach. Initial impressions were good. Pray that God’s will be done and the couple either selected or rejected based on God’s plan for us here.
Pray for our kids.
We are down to 7 now; another one will leave when school ends and probably will not return on a permanent basis. Presently, they are the ones that do almost all of the work, especially on Saturday and Sunday. School vacation is also when we try to do a lot of training for our girls here.
Pray for our new organization.
We now represent three provinces. I have had principals from as far away as 200 miles ask me to help them find English teachers. The leaders of the organization meet January 27 to begin to set up a plan for 2013.
I will try to get pictures into the computer tomorrow and send some off to you. Please continue your prayers and support. Without them, Satan will not win the war, but he could well win the battle here.
God Bless, and lots of Love, John, Maeo and the girls.
