Time continues to fly by. Since the last news letter we have had two English Camps, full Saturday programs, and full Sunday program including hosting 105 people on July 8 for our two month get together. We have had a combined prayer group meeting and about 6 plus feet of rain. Things are growing so fast that our gardener can’t keep up with it. We have a cow expected to deliver any day and three mother pigs ready to bring little ones into the world.
Our English classes are starting to settle down a bit. My second year university group has disappeared so it has freed up 4 hours a week to work more with the girls living here.
Please continue to pray for Pan and Tat. That they will open their eyes and God will show them the right path. Pray for Toom. She came to me Thursday and said she had to go to a 3-day Buddhist retreat last Fri/Sat/Sun. She was told plainly that that is not the kind of thing God would want to see her doing, but it looks as though she ignored both God’s commands and my suggestions. Pray she will get back on the right track before it is too late.
This was started on July 10 and we are just getting around to getting it out. Praise God so far all of our girls appear to have done well on their mid-term examinations. We will know in a week or so.
Youth group meeting is tomorrow. We are expecting around 100 teens and our teen leaders here are conducting the whole thing, including the message. I am looking forward to hearing Nun speak.
Please continue prayers for the little baby. I just talked to grandpa and he is improving but still not out of danger and they don’t know how the brain has been affected. We pray for God’s intervention.
We continue to be busy with English Camps on Saturday. Currently we are scheduled for three a month for August and September – school is closed for October, so we will be having our teens go to a leadership seminar in Bangkok and will have our second VBS. In addition we are looking forward to our visitors from the US and New Zealand who will be making a short stop here.
Please continue to pray for John and Maeo – strength and wisdom in dealing with the 8 children living here as well as the 12-15 elementary school students here on Saturday and Sunday. Pray for the ones who have left, that they will hear God and return.
We thank and praise God for all of the prayer support and financial support we have received and continue to receive. Thank you and God Bless, John and Maeo
