Greetings and praise God. Maeo and I are sitting in a quiet hotel room in Khon Kaen. We have had our first set of checkups and all is well. To celebrate we went to McDonalds for lunch and after shopping all afternoon, went to KFC for dinner. Now we will rest up and go for the next one in the morning. We will be at the hospital at about 7 am to get in line and then wait until 9 or 9:30 am for the doctor to arrive. If we are lucky to get there early enough, we should be on our way home by 10 am and that will be a 4-5 hour drive. I will put the pictures with this and try to get it sent out tomorrow afternoon or evening.  The best laid plans of mice and men??????

Our team arrived last Saturday and left yesterday.

And time goes by so fast. It is now March 2 and I don’t know where the week has gone.  Praise God Maeo and I had our medical checks at Khon Kaen Monday and Tuesday and all is well.

Our team that came in last week was a great success.  The three ladies, Lynne,  Edie  and Shan spent Mon-Fri working with over 300 elementary students in three different schools teaching English and witnessing.  Reports from the schools were full of praise and a desire to have these ladies return again.

Our teaching seminar ended up with 7 people full time and another 4 people who attended part time. Two afternoons were spent in a local village. Our group witnessed to 10-15 people. I received word from the local pastor on Saturday attendance at their home study group had increased by 6-8 people directly related to the visits and a couple or so more may come this Saturday. Please keep them in your prayers.

High Schools are in the process of closing down for the summer, so we ask for prayers for our programs here. Our students will get a one week break and then start summer school here. They will be attending at least 2 hours a day 5 days a week, plus homework and outside reading, so they will be busy. DVBS will be Apr 4-6 and we will be praying for 40 students. Pray for Bee and Nun as they prepare for this and as they prepare for a seminar on teaching children, March 19-20.

Now for the pictures.  God Bless and keep. John, Maeo and the Christian Mission
