Ruth Devairakkam in Kluang, Malaysia reports as follows (9 January) concerning their Christmas and New Year celebrations …
“15 non-Christian friends from Kluang and outstation came to our house for a Christmas fellowship. Lunch was served. We also had a time of sharing Jesus with them. Indians and Chinese were present. Our children were also with us.
Non-Christian relatives came to our house to celebrate Christmas for the first time. They even ordered a cake for Christmas. They stayed with us for two days and joined us for service and house fellowship. They are now responsive to the Gospel.
A former A C Church member and her family were brought back by James and Mercy to join our services. They attend our Church services and house fellowships regularly. We praise God for it.
On Christmas Day, we had a dinner fellowship with our folk and non-Christian friends at James and Mercy’s place. James shared the message there.
On New Year’s eve, we had a prayer meeting at our house, at night. Dinner was served. New contacts were present.
On New Year Day, we had a combined Worship Service at a Malay Language Church (Indonesian Christians). James and Wilfred were invited to preach and interpret at the service. James spoke in English and it was interpreted into the Malay Language by Wilfred. Some of the churches in Kluang had combined services for Christmas and New Year.
God is bringing into our midst, people from different races, from broken homes, and those under the bondage of witchcraft. Do continue to pray for our A C group here, for God to use us as vessels to touch lives for His Glory.
