Greetings number 2. We are still playing catch up. The December 2-4 convention was a bit more than we expected, so it is taking a bit longer to recover.
To continue the story. December 5 is Father’s Day and the king’s birthday, so the convention decided to hold a special service on Sunday evening prior to closing things out. The king is highly regarded here in Thailand and is considered to be the father of all of the Thai people, so there is much celebration for his birthday. It usually starts weeks or months before the actual date, and may continue on after. I have attached some pictures of our ceremony for you to look at. In the next email, I will bring you up to date on our latest English Camp and other news from the Mission. God Bless and please keep praying for us – that is the only thing that keeps us going.
God Bless, John and Maeo
