Pastor D from the Advent Christian Conference of Myanmar reports …

Greetings in Jesus name from Yangon,Myanmar.
I am happy again to report our ministry activities in October.
By the grace of God we all are fine and ministry are going well here in Myanmar.
God is good always for us and He protect from His wonderful  hand.
We are praying and working hard for his Harvest time in Myanmar.
Many people are hunger and willing to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are waiting to hear the good news of Jesus!!
And God is doing great things through our ministry in Myanmar.
Thank you so much for your helping with in your prayer and lovingly support for our ministry.
We appreciate for your helping and we want to say a big thanks to all of you for your support.

Evangelism.

Our missionary with his first-converted-two ladies always tries to spread the gospel. They never care mud. They went to House to House or home-cell and encouraged them new believers to grow in spiritual life. He requests house owner to invite neighboring houses to come and listen His message. Some are interested in hearing melody and Guitar. So if Buddhists participate in Home-cell, he told them about who was and is and is to come. They teach songs and Bible verses to everyone so that they may know God and intimate with God spiritually. After the service they ask their difficulties and pray for them. At the same time if some are not feeling well, they lay their hands on them and pray for them. By doing this way many of them see God’s glory. Two women of participators in home cell  said, ” our prayer request was really fulfilled”. Finally, most of villagers know who God is and why God’s purpose for loving human beings.

Baptism.

All the villagers are Buddhists before our missionary was sent to them.  Every day they are destined to hell, in thinking of their future life is hopeless; the missionary fervidly shares the redemption of Christ to them. At the beginning they are stubborn to confess Jesus is Lord and Savior, to forsake their idol-worship. He can do is to pray to God for changing their lives and following God. Villagers thought that foreign religion is carried to our village and then they hated him. But he patiently goes to their respective house and tells them Jesus and God is not for foreigners, but for all human beings. He said to them, “God wants us and wants us to turn back to Him who is the Creator of all living things and non-living things, He opens the door for everyone regardless of races, nation, white, black… so on.”

His eagerness for sharing the Gospel to them is indescribable by words of mouth. Now four people convict their hearts and minds to follow God till their lives end. Praise God!! Therefore, they were baptized into water, and pray for their life journey on the earth. They decided to worship God alone in their lives. They totally forsook all idols in their houses. They said, “It is a wondrous day for us because our names are written in the book of life”. Adding, “We are sorry for hating you, missionary, thank you so much for opening our spiritual eyes to see His light and to know who we are in His presence”.

Orphans information.

All are students who are lack of knowledge in the first month of the beginning of school. Therefore, we try our best for their education, we made them study and we superintended every time. As the result of this, they are improving month after month. One girl is an outstanding student in her performance in education at school. All her teachers praise her academically. She said, ” I thank God for giving me knowledge as I ask God to grant me this king of wisdom. Adding, before I started lessons and I first spend time with God in prayer. “We praise God for this. Next, God is so good that they have sound health in every daily life. Finally, I would like to request you to remember in your prayer as He leads till today. Before they are arrived in Yangon they lived in small village. They have no chance to attend school and reading. Now they have time good study for their life and they are so happy to learn subjects in school. They are so happy in eating and studying in our home now.
