Pastor D reported recently………

(My apologies for the delay in getting these reports onto the website. Please understand that for security reasons we cannot show you many of the pictures which show the real joy on the faces of many who participated in the activities reported on – Ernie Schache)

“I am so happy to report this month of our ministry activities here in Myanmar. God is good and doing great things through our ministry. Many children and other people hear the good news of Jesus Christ and some are accepted  Jesus as their Savior and Lord!!! But some are hear the good news of Jesus Christ and deny Jesus is Lord and Savior. We know we are only able to share his salvation and change life is from our lord.

Please see attachment of pictures and read detail information about pictures. Thank you so much for your helping us with in your prayer for our ministry. We want to say a big thanks for your support for our ministry.

Literature Ministry report:

Missionaries, Evangelists, Pastors, believers and unbelievers were involved in these pictures – (withheld for security). Jesus Booklets and Sharing About Jesus to Children Around the World booklet were given to them freely to use Sunday School teachers in their ministries and to give unbeliever Children. Literature Ministry is one of effective tools to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Buddhists and Hindus or muslims. As for them it is easy to receive booklets and read it. It was taken place in (name withheld) for Ministers at the last week of May and (name withheld) township for children at the second week of April. It is our privilege to make unbelievers know Jesus through literature ministry. It is the way to proclaim the Love of God and the Savior of Christ.

Children’s Ministry report:

HP’s parents enjoyed having a girl who lives in a small village – lost her mother when she was 2 years old. Her village is situated in remote area. Her father was uneducated person and poor. She lived with father and not went to Church. Her father was doing chores for family alone. Her life on earth was no way to even attend Sunday school children. In this way family was faced difficulty in house. So, her father decided to send to someone who nurses her for education and spirituality because he realized that he could not provided her needs. He heard about VL (name withheld) and contacted me to send her to me for her future security. After arriving VL, she said, ” I am happy to spend time with other children in singing children songs and reciting Bible verses and to know God in this place, and I thank God for sending here and for having chance to attend school.”  Now she enjoys having new clothes and school uniform and an umbrella. At the same time she has hope in God for her future to be with God. She changed her life while she stayed in our orphanage home. She wants to become Evangelist in her future life. Pray for her life and to fulfil her vision.

We share school uniforms, umbrellas, and books with pens and pencils to our five partner orphanage homes: Bro. KL, HKP, T and Sister P orphanage Homes.

Village Camp report:

During Thingan ( water festival), Christians and Buddhists were involved in camp. The purpose is  to teach the way to get to heaven through Jesus Christ alone for Buddhistsm for them it is our privilege to share the gospel during water festival holidays by applying the context of Buddhists’ belief on this occasion, and then for Christians, to teach and train Christians to commit to serving the Lord or to share the Gospel to non-Christians and to realize that they are responsible for telling about the Savior to those who did not hear the Gospel before. It was taken place in (name withheld) village, our missionary’s premises, from April 11 to 14. Some youths decided to follow Christ by this training camp. The Spirit was moving among us to change their hearts and minds for His kingdom. As they began praying for the people to have mind of Christ, God answered believers. God is really working people’s hearts throught this camp to make up their mind for propagating the Gospel to non-Christians.

Orphanage Home visit:

We visited some our partnership orphanages homes. I encouraged the children and orphanage leaders, Scripture portion was taken from Mark 10:46-52, these verse expressed that the blind called Jesus, but people hindered him not call Jesus, fortunately, the calling of blind man was heard by Jesus, and He asked him that what can I do for you?  Tthe blind man  answered that I want to be healed my eyes. Then he was healed and followed Him. Similarly, when we call and pray Jesus, people may hinder, but it is our chance not to give up asking for what we want to be in life and ministry, God is ready to hear and answer our supplications.  I bought a rice bag for each orphanage home. It was taken place on April 19 and 20. I had a chance to take pictures with them.

Th child with woman was abandoned by parents. No one knows who are her parents? But our partnership, Mr. KL’s wife is pity on her, and collects her and care and nurse her. Now she is 5 and half months old. By God’s grace she is healthy.

Children’s Camp

Mr. KL’s, Ms. P’s, Mr. T’s  and our Orphanage children including outside Sunday children of non-Christians  were involved in the Thagan ( water festival ) camp which was conducted in (name withheld) Township  from April 11 to April 17, Monday to Sunday. Class for children was divided into three viz. age between 6 and 10 class One, age between 11 and 15 class Two, and age between 16 and above Class Three. There was every night service each day. The last day on April 16, they played games as they organized three teams. These three groups competed each other in games. All the children were encouraged and strengthened in that camp. They testified what they felt in their heart and mind and what great things God has done for them. Some of them committed their lives to God for His kingdom’s sake. It is a great opportunity for them to enjoy fellowship with each other from different place and children. From our children two were awarded Model Prize which was given to the one who shows good ability in every area during 6 days. Some accepted Jesus Christ as their personal and Lord. They are ready to be baptized. I gave some presents to those who taught children in a week.

Seminar attended:

I and my wife including other 50 ministers were attending Marriage Seminar. It is a great blessing my life and my wife. The teacher made us remarry again and pray each other. The program was taken place at (organisation and place name withheld). It was conducted by (name withheld).  It was on April 25 to 29, one week. I had an opportunity to pray for my wife. The course is excellent for family life. I and my wife were so encouraged and strengthened by that seminar. We, now, understood that how to love each other in family life. We knew how important family life is in ministry.  We are praying to practice our family life and to teach other church members and orphanage homes.”
