“Greetings in Jesus name from {name withheld}, Myanmar. I hope you all are fine and ministry are going well. Today I and my workers are arrived safely our office from outreach in {name withheld} state and relief work and share the gospel to non Christian in our village people. Many people hear the gospel of Christ and some are received Jesus as Savior and Lord through literature!! Praise Lord and to God be the glory!!! They are hunger for  the good news of Jesus.

By the grace of God in my family we all are fine including my children,

In my pig farm all of pig are growing every day and we sell every month for our monthly income. It is a great blessing for our ministry. In our church planting ministry also going well and all of church planters are doing very good in their area. This year we change some of missionary around in Myanmar and we decided our missionary in {name withheld} state will move in {name withheld}  and to become a pastor in our {name withheld}  Church. And one of our missionary in {name withheld}  also move to {name withheld}  to lead one of our home church group and Pastor HN will become full time in Bible School.

In our Orphanage home all of children are fine and healthy by the grace of God. This coming Monday we will start one week children camp in {name withheld}  and I bring  one children this trip in our home.

He further reports about specific ministries…

Food shortage has been facing in {name withheld} state since 2010 because rats have been destroying all the paddy fields including other crops or cereals. Every village is needed to be donated. But we distributed rice bags at {name withheld} village only, {name withheld}  township, as we can. The village where donated rice bags cannot reach car, so the villagers were coming on the way on foot , it took them two days. After they reached on the way calling {name withheld} Camp, we shared each household a bag. They said that God heard our humble cry to Him to send those who have a great desire for distributing rice bags to their village. Again, they said that it is God’s wonderful way to show to unbelievers even in our village and other neigbouring villages to see the living God is our Provider.

Old men and poor children in their lives were never heard the Gospel before in remote area, but now heard the Good News of Jesus Christ, {name withheld} state, not only for the rich, but also for the poor. It is the first time for them in hearing salvation of God to human beings for them on March 30, 31 and April 1, and 2. The old man with stick accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and confessed that Jesus is Lord and Savior of the world. By God’s grace and mercy the children heard that God loves them even though they are desperate in the eyes of human beings. The child with red shirt is brought to Yangon our orphanage home (Victory Lighthouse) for sending to public school because his parents are died last year, and then he stopped attending last year lack of finance and food and could not have an opportunity to attend school any more. His name is Mr. {name withheld}.

It is essential to use our time to God for propagating the Good News to the hopeless. Jesus Christ for all peoples in the world was told to them. They convicted that God is for all who trust in Him will not be perished any more.

We were involved in open-air-preaching on Wednesday, March 30, and the second on Saturday, April 2, 2011 to Christians, Buddhists, and animists near {two place names withheld} {name withheld} state. For Buddhists it is the first time for hearing the way to heaven through Christ only. There is no other way on earth. For animists they clearly understood that the blood of Christ cleanses all the sins of human beings, it is not temporary, is eternal. For Christians they were encouraged the way to tell about Christ more and more with clear message to non-Christians.

Because open- air- preaching can be heard around houses, it is one of the ways to proclaim the gospel to people. Houses are too small to gather together in crowd. So, we use this way of preaching in outside. We hope the event can make the hearers  understand that God’s redemption will be proclaimed in many ways such as open-air-preaching, camping , and one to one.

Literature was distributed at {name withheld} (Adults), {name withheld} Baptist Church (children), {name withheld} Town, and {name withheld} Church (children), {names withheld} State on Wednesday, March 30, 2011; small book with color pictures was taken place on Sunday morning, April 3, 2011 to many people – some were believers and some were Buddhists and animists

They are happy to have this kind of color booklet was given freely. They said that we are responsible for reading at home. They thank God for this free gift. We never got book with color picture personally. Adults were given freely booklet to study at home. Children were very excited about reading children book with color pictures which talks about the love, care of God to Children. They have desire to read it at home, are happy for receiving it freely. Adults are thankful to God for booklet given freely. Actually, this kind of book is sold in bookshop, but we were given without charge.

The event can make the hearers understood that literature is one of effective tools for penetrating the Gospel to pre-Christians. Book gives us knowledge to understand and convict God is a Living God. A few children received Jesus Christ by reading small book with color picture. They need more Christian books to distribute in their area.”
