For many years Paul had had the dream of being able to take the Gospel to unreached areas and villages in the Khagaria District of Bihar, using modern projection and sound equipment to show films. His dream was realised and new opportunities for ministry were opened up in Khagaria as God moved some of His people in New Zealand to give generously so that the outreach team now has an overhead projector and suitable screen, an amplifier and sound system and a portable diesel generator (donated by AAM) to provide power for the equipment. Last year the American Advent Mission in Chennai replaced its vehicle and after a thorough overhaul, the older vehicle, which was a very robust vehicle and ideal for the task, was given to Paul and his team, so they now have all they need to go far afield showing Gospel films.
Please pray for Paul and his team as do their part in the huge task of turning the State (which has a population of 87 million people and is recognised as the “heartland of backwardness” and where only 48% of the population are literate) that was once known as the “Graveyard of Missions” into the “Vineyard for Mission”.
Another brother and sister in New Zealand gave generously to enable many children in India, Thailand and Myanmar to have a specially happy Christmas.
Pictured are Paul and some of his co-workers distributing gifts to the children at the Advent Christian Conference of India’s St Xavier’s School in Khagaria.
