Pastor D, one of the leaders of the Advent Christian Conference of Myanmar reports as follows:
Please pray for him and the other leaders of the ACCM as they minister under very difficult conditions.
“Missionary OT (name withheld for security) along with his Sunday school teacher and youths participated in outreach activities at (name withheld) village in (name withheld) township on Sunday evening, the last week of January, 2011. Most of Buddhist people including their children were attending Home church at village.
They were interested in worshipping service which was the first experience for them. They welcomed and invited Mr. (name withheld) team to go to there again at village. People were very excited about hearing the love of God, which is for all people in the world. And it is wonderful news for unbelievers.
The event is awesome for us and them. Especially, a child taught unbeliever children. She made them sung and danced with acting songs. The villagers felt amazed for this child’s teaching in their village.”
“I went for outreach in (name withheld) Township, (name withheld) State in the month of January 15-30 with my co-worker brother. As you know there is a difficult area and mountain hill area to go by jeep. The jeep car loaded many things and we held Jeep and arrived safely in (name withheld). And we conducted ministers’ seminar in (name withheld) Township. More than 200 ministers were participated and some were from different churches in (name withheld) Township. And I met 10 ministers (2 were absent) who are supported from our ministry and prayer for them. After arriving in (name withheld) township and we plan to go to village by foot for one day. And in village at night service we preached the gospel and encouraged to believers. And we distributed rice bags for villagers who faced starvation .They all were happy, blessed and we encouraged ministers’ seminar, night service and rice distribution in village. They invited us again to go every year and help them in their needs.”
I with my co-workers were going to a village in (name withheld) for food relief on January 15-30, 2011. As you know our land and paddy farms were destroyed by heavy rain and rats last year. In our (name withheld) we have more than 150 villages and the population between 50,000-60,000 people. They all become hungry for one year up to now. And our land is very difficult and mountain hill area. Not able to go by car and walk by foot one day in this (name withheld) village. All of villages faced food crisis in our land. We bought some rice bags food and distribution to villagers. They carried their own rice bags by themselves to village and they were so blessed and happy for our help.
They know how God is doing their lives and how God provides their daily needs. We are also happy for helping the needy people village in our land.
“I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink.” (Matthew 25:35)
