INDIA: Please continue to pray for the sale of the land at Guindy for a
good price. Please pray especially that one very interested group – the
Prince Group – may decide to purchase the land. There would be a very
valuable financial benefit available to ACGC work worldwide if they were
the final purchaser!
INDIA: Please continue to pray for the 13 rebel pastors of the FBHC. Their
words and activities continue to indicate a truly evil influence in their
lives. Pray that the the Lord may turn them back to Himself. Pray
especially for the safety of Immanuel and Prabu Manuel who have recently
received serious death threats from one of the rebel leaders!
THAILAND: Thank the Lord for wonderful fellowship at the leaders’ meeting
in November and for safe travel to and from Naratchakwai for all involved.
Pray for decisions made in respect to future ministry in Thailand and
Myanmar. Pray that the Lord will provide the necessary resources, both
financial and in respect to personnel.
THAILAND: Pray especially for John and Maeo Middlewood’s health and for
the Lord’s leading as they consider attendance at the ACGC’s Triennial
convention in Charlotte, North Carolina next June. Their greatest need
will be someone reliable to stand in for them for two weeks or so to look
after their 8 “daughters” and the young people’s ministry.
MALAYSIA: Thank and praise the Lord for an opportunity in early November
for Ruth and Wilfred to be involved with ministering to an 83 year old
Indian lady, a member of the AC church as she was seriously ill in
hospital prior to her eventual death. Her family are all Hindus, but Ruth
and Wilfred had wonderful opportunities to witness to and minister to them
as they worked together on funeral arrangements. Pray that words spoken
during this time, and at the Memorial Service to be held for the lady this
month, will turn her daughter and son-in-law towards the Lord.
MYANMAR: Our Burmese AC leaders ask for ongoing prayer for the people of
the Karen tribe – a mainly Christian tribe which is under attack
(basically ethnic cleansing) from government troops. More than 10,000
refugees have fled across the Myanmar/Thai border to escape Myanmar troops
only to be fired on by Thai soldiers. They are desperate for food,
shelter, medicine and above all peace in their lives. Please pray for this
situation on an ongoing basis.
