Dear Supporters and Friends,
Greetings to you all in the name of Christ our Lord. Another year has almost gone but that does not mean that the work in the Philippines takes a break. I would take this opportunity of thanking you all again for all of your support, prayerfully and financially throughout the year. The work of Christ continues and lives are still being changed and young people continue to be equipped for works of service for His glory.

CAGAYAN DE ORO. Pastor Reniel Comajeg writes:
“The Macajalar Bay District” has just concluded its annual Corporate Worship last October 31. The theme of this year’s annual corporate worship was “In Working Together, We Grow Together”. The speaker was Rev. Pablito Molina and he spoke from the book of Nehemiah when the people rebuilt the wall of Jerusalem. Only the Opol Church, Pastored by Alex Dane did not joined the fellowship. It was a wonderful time together of blessing and fellowship. It was very encouraging to see God’s people working together in different places for God’s honor and glory. The morning was a plain/usual worship service. We all then had a lunch fellowship and the afternoon was spent for presentations (by church) and games. Thanks to Pastor Ronie Comajig (chairman of the district), Rucky Pallo (vice chairman), Pastor Pablito Molina and all the pastors who gave their time and effort for the success of the program. Thank you all for those who prayed. Attached {included below} are the photos of the fellowship. Maranatha Bible Church, Cagayan will celebrate its thanksgiving next weekend.

NOVALICHES, MANILA. Pastor Roy Rocha writes:
“Dear Friends,
Thank you very much for keeping me in your prayer and support. Your partnership in helping our church during the time of crisis means a lot to me. Your continued support has built my confidence in the ministry knowing that truly God will use people to bless and meet our needs.
Last September 26 was our first year anniversary as a “NEW LIFE IN CHRIST MINSTRY” the church is now back to normal after suffering from typhoon “Ondoy” or “Katsena” last September 26, 2009. Our theme was “Declaring God’s Greatness.” The celebration was filled with testimonies of people who experienced God’s greatness in times of harsh, life threatening, and difficult situations. The worship was filled with songs echoing to the four corners of the church “for you alone deserve all glory, for you alone deserve all praise…” and “How great is our God, sing with me, How great is our God!” It was a lively spirit filled and joyful worship. As the apostle Paul wrote to the Christians in Corinth, “But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” (2 Corinthians 4:7-9), Indeed, we overcame the crisis because of Christ’s strength in us! It was a whole day celebration and was witnessed by a local government official. I have learned in the ministry that often times we must not only work hard but work smart for God. It is different that we only work hard and not work smart for this result to exhaustion. But working hard and working smart is when you put your complete dependence on the strength and guidance of the Lord in following His will. Balanced emphasis on head, heart, and hand is what every minister of God needs to be more effective in the ministry. To ACMissioNZ, AAMS and to all who gave generously to help our church “rise above the storm” we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for keeping us in your prayers. You investment not only helped rebuild our church and homes but our lives in Christ.
Our prayer request is for the upcoming events:
• Starting November 21, 28, and December 5, 12 will be a Baptismal and membership Class for 12 young people and 5 Adults.
• December 18: “Freedom Day” is the day of baptism
• December 28-30: kids and youth camp: we need to raise 4,000 pesos for this event that will surely lead to another baptism by April of 2011.
Pray that God will continue to move the hearts of the baptism candidates and the provision of our needs for the said activities.
In Christ,
Roy L. Rocha
Roy’s daughter, Keziah, is due to go for her operation to remove the cyst behind her right ear on Monday, November 22nd, at 2pm (7pm NZ time). Please pray for her and those who attend to her.

PASTOR BENJIE RAGAS, MACANHAN, CDO, wrote:
“We will be having our baptism tomorrow morning at Bonbon beach resort since there are no classes tomorrow (November 16th).”
He continued
“Last Saturday we conducted house to house Bible study and thank God, there were some who responded to the Bible.”
PASTOR JONATHAN NAVACILLA reports that the outreach at Umapad, Mandaue City, Cebu, continues every Saturday. He says:
“We don’t have any building yet so we are doing our class on a little road in that barangay. We just use mats for the kids to sit on while they are listening to the Bible stories. Please pray for God’s provision for us to be able to build a building for Bible studies and for the Kids. We also have started Bible studies for the parents every Saturday afternoon in this same place.”
Pastor Jonathan also reported that they were able to have a youth outing and retreat at Danao City, Cebu Last October 29, 2010.
Both Pastor Jonathan and Pastor Reniel are doing well with their studies at CGST. During their between semester class they were under a “Kiwi” lecturer. He said that the students might have trouble understanding his accent but they were happy to tell him that they were well used to a “Kiwi’s” accent. I wonder why!!!
