Greetings from Thailand. Saturday August 28, 2010 was our turn to hold youth day for our group of churches. Every other month we meet at a different church for the youth to get together And worship and have some fun. We hosted 73 people from four churches – the furthest one traveled about an hour and a half to get here. We had about 3 and a half hours of fellowship, singing, witnessing and praising God and about 45 minutes of eating.
For those of you who have been praying for Dua – our young man who was having a funeral prepared for him about a year ago – you can see from the pictures that he is a very healthy young man and makes a hit with all the girls.
Our service was conducted totally by the youth, with yours truly being allowed about 15 minutes to preach. The time was more than enough because the girls did such a great job. We did a repeat of Mother’s Day for the youth and it was very well accepted.
There was Storying of Proverbs 31; a play created by one of our girls showing very graphically, what can happen when we do not obey our parents – briefly son kills mother and sister and police kill two brothers.
Each visiting group put on a skit or sang songs, or some other activity; then lunch and games after that. Everyone was on the way home by 2:30 pm. Please continue your prayers for our youth.
God Bless, John and Maeo
PS
Thank you for your continued support in prayer. Those of you who who have responded to pur prayers for videos praise God and thank God Bless, John
