It is Sunday evening, about 5 pm. All of our “children” have gone home for a 2 and a half day break. Exams finished last week and I will be checking for results this coming week.
Everything is closed right now for a 3 day celebration of the beginning of “Buddhist Lent”.

Here at home are Maeo, me and Maeo’s nephew. The little one and her mother have gone to Laos to see grandmother who is very sick; they will be back sometime tonight.
Today was a glorious day for Christ and for the Christian Mission, but also it was a very bleak day. We had 2 teens receive baptism, praise God; but we had two teens who wanted to but could not because of being forbidden by their parents. You know the story of Amporn – her mother, a spirit worshiper, has already dedicated her daughter to the spirits she worships and refused to allow here daughter to be baptized. Amporn loves her mother and feels she cannot disobey, so she is having problems. We have also found out that her IQ is a bit low and she is been put on medication to help her concentration. Please keep her in your prayers. The other girl in the “Praying picture”, on the right, is Yee. She is a 12th grader this year, and has very low confidence. She has accepted Christ along with the other three, but again, her parents, particularly her father, refuses to allow her daughter to be baptized.
The first pictures are of the team practicing singing on Saturday; the other picture is in the classroom learning English. The rest of the pictures are from our service on Sunday; with the baptism and the senior citizen food packets..
Thank you for your prayers and your support. Under God’s direction, we will continue. Also, one of the principals contacted me yesterday and says that he may have another girl he would like us tot take under our wing. Please pray for that also.
God Bless and keep you
John and Maeo
