Greetings from Nakhon Phanom, Thailand in the middle of the monsoon season. We praise him because all of the fields are flooded and the farmers are happy; We praise him that we sit on higher ground so don’t worry about the flooding, and we praise him because from about 8:45 am to 12:00 noon today God turned the water off so we had a very good church service.
July 10 we had an English Camp at Kam Pawk Elementary School and had about 90 students in attendance with my team of 9 high school kids. All went well and it was a great day.
We no longer have an adult choir – in fact we never really had one – 🙂 so our elementary children and our high school children alternate Sundays to provide special music.
As you see in the pictures, with the exception of this old man preaching, you see that the oldest member in our worship; team is about 17 years old. Praise God they are fantastic.
Since Mu, Mao’s brother has left us, the music program is now in the hands of Tom, Maeo’s nephew. At about 25 years old he is the next old man. Please pray that God will convict him that his job is here with us and working with the children. He really does a great job and the children like him too.
Please look at the pictures below to see our lovely group and keep us in your prayers.
Pray for our youth who have accepted Christ – that they will continue to grow
Pray for our members and youth who have turned away from God – that they will see the error of their ways and return.
Pray – praise God for all the blessings he has given to us here and as he continues to bless us.
Pray for wisdom and strength and good health for me – pray for patience in dealing with 7 teenage girls.
Thank you and God Bless, John and Maeo
